Welcome to the Fingerpaint forum.
Fingerpaint is a cross-platform GUI library for D written in D. The goal of this project is to provide the D programmer with a solid framework on which he can easily build his own custom components, if the controls that ship with the library aren't enough.
A demonstrative version is currently in development. This version will feature the framework and a handful of controls, and support for windows and possibly mac os.
This version will be released soon, as in 'withing several weeks or maybe a couple of months' (Depending on position of the stars).
Anyway, feel free to voice your feature requests and opinions on how a GUI should work, in this forum.
Greetz,
Boyd.

I would really like there to be a native controls component to UniD, not just the OpenGL rendered UI. I am also focusing on Windows, Linux, and OSX, and have Windows and Linux functional.
I already have lots of work done on UniD and would be very interested in discussing a merge. Hit me up on irc.freenode.net #unid and we can chat about it... or not.

Currently there is no plan to support anything but the standard library. Though if anyone's interested in developing and maintaining a tango version, I'd be happy to help out where I can. |
