Using the new RC2 of Mplayer, with some patches (SVN-r24762-4.2.1), MPlayer keeps running in the background when closing rulesPlayer. Sound still goes on, restarting rulesPlayer will show the video in the overlay. This does not occur when pushed the STOP button first, or when playback is finished, only when closing rulesPlayer when still playing.
"Luckily", this happens completely randomly, so I don't have a clue what's actually happening when this occurs. I only know that it occured quite a few times...
Could you please insert a stop routine before closing rulesPlayer? Should be nothing much.
Furthermore, a question: is Mplayer's input.conf ignored, or overruled, or how does rulesPlayer cope with this key binding config file? |

I will try this RC2 release to see what is wrong...
About the input.conf - it is not used because MPlayer is in slave mode, i.e. it never receives any key strokes or mouse clicks. These go to the rulesPlayer window. |
