Well Kris must be a bad influence on me, because I'm not going to be around for a couple of weeks whilst I deal with some family matters and hiding during my birthday.
When I do get back, I'll get more of the blanks written, try to tie it together some more, and see if we can't start getting some real code written. In particular the Application class, as that seems like a logical starting point to me. _________________ Chris Nicholson-Sauls |

Do you mean ApplicationObject?
As I see it, Root, SceneManager, Camera and some others and renderers are the most important to get anything to work. |

Well I'm halfway back now, so I can start paying projects some mind again. I'll be sort-of "a day on, a day off" for a while though. Darn life.
As to my referance to the Application class, I meant that in terms of building a view of what will be needed in order to run any test drivers/minimals once the things you listed (camera, root, GL renderer, etc) are written. Any word yet from the guy working on the new GL binding? _________________ Chris Nicholson-Sauls |

If you mean me, I've put out quite a few words in the Derelict forums The source for the GL package has been in SVN for a while now, and I think I've gotten all of the kinks worked out. Currently it's Windows only. GLU is also in and working if you need it. I'll be releasing an 'official' Derelict 0.1 zip early next week which will include GL, GLU and SDL. If you only want the GL bits you can get them through svn at http://svn.dsource.org/svn/projects/derelict/trunk/DerelictGL/.
If you weren't speaking of me, oops |

As a matter of fact I did mean you, so all is good. I'd seen the Derelict project pop up but hadn't been following it. Good news to hear. I'm hoping to get GL support first, DirectX later. For my own reasons, but hey, I can be selfish now and then if I really want to right? _________________ Chris Nicholson-Sauls |
