I can't think of anything I would use Carbon for,
that isn't better off using the wxWidgets library.
It wraps into Carbon on the Mac OS X platform,
and provides most things you want from a GUI.
Do check out http://wxd.sourceforge.net/
Should I ever need any Carbon routines directly,
I think I will just add the needed stubs in the code.
Can anyone think of a reason for porting Carbon over,
and possibly risk the wrath of Apple Legal for doing so ?
I can understand why the Pascal guys did it, but not D.
