First gui that its gonna have is ncurses, and I think it will work only on linux.

After its been tested fine, I want to have a proper GUI, but it must be for both, linux and windows

I think DUI has some problems on Windnows, I would go with harmonia ( I dont think it has a linux port yet but its suppose to be easy to create one so Id guess its not too long ).

DUI still needs some fixing on both platforms (and maybe a name change too). But this shouldn't be a reason to avoid it. Getting it working optimally is just a matter of effort, as is the case for any project. Harmonia could be an option, although I still think it serves a different niche than DUI. So I don't think one replaces the other. Harmonia, I believe, is designed to be much simpler than DUI in terms of GUI components and functionality. Both show potential, though.

Another possible option that may show up soon: SWT. SWT looks to be a fairly comprehensive toolkit in comparison to both DUI and Harmonia.

Thanks for feedback. I've compiled, seems , Dool, and DUI lib. But, DUI examples had some linking problems... Err, did not try to do simple examples on my own yet.

Perhaps should try other libs, as you suggesting.
Also, MinWin is there ... seems to be mulitplatform.

Otherwise, gonna upload hopefully my ncurses dlanchat on the weekend, i think, if you interested

Yep, DUI is currently being "fixed" up. The examples have not been updated or tested yet with the recent changes (unless Ant has done so).

Hopefully, DUI will be ready for a release update soon.
