As some of you may know, Clay (clayasaurus) has decided to no longer work on ArcLib. See his blog post here Fortunately, this project won't die.
I am now the maintainer of ArcLib. (And evil overlord / moderator of this sub-forum) I plan to create a branch that takes advantage of D2 and Derelict2 eventually, but I don't have a timeline for this yet. (I still haven't read through all of "The D Programming Language") _________________ Current projects: Project Fermitas, Arctographer tile map editor, Arclib game library.

I now have the window and texture modules updated as well as some other miscellaneous code written. The code that is written works with Derelict2 and Phobos2. Some of my time has been taken away by other things such as some tweaks to Phobos' std.json.
The project's (still) not dead. I'll commit to SVN when I think I have something worthwhile to show (or if enough interest is shown here on the forums) _________________ Current projects: Project Fermitas, Arctographer tile map editor, Arclib game library.

I must admit I still haven't started to use ArcLib, and since I switched to D2 I won't nearly soon, but I do want to see this version out so I can start to understand and use it.
Of course, I want to put an Arch package on the AUR* for it too. I'd like to have as many working D2 libraries as possible on Arch's AUR.
* The AUR is a sort of source repository managed by users for ArchLinux. |
