The picture shows the document outline, not the class view. Even though it might be a little easier, it still needs a complete parser. Visual D does not have one (yet). |

class view show all of files in current project.
outline view show class/struct of current file.

class view in visual-d is empty, so it dont need a picture to show. . |

Having given it a second thought, the class/object browser don't need a parser, they can be filled from the JSON information generated by dmd and already used by Visual D.
I'm already working on it, so stay tuned...
BTW: have you seen the "Search file/symbol" in the Visual D menu? They already allow searching the solution, but in a non-hierarchical style. |

I tried it.
sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't
I dont know why. sometimes it's empty list.
however I have been checking classview (0.3.24rc2) and it seems great!

I think the the buttons "whole word" and "case sensitive" can sometimes be showing wrong states. If in doubt hit them twice to set the filter state again.

Thanks. There a some issues left for improvement, but I hope it is useful as it is now. |
