setup is Kubuntu 10.04, Qt 4.6.2, dmd 2.046 patched, cmake 2.8(not 2.6 as specified). Follow build instructions to the letter.
cmake ../ indicates sane build environment
make fails with:
make[5]: *** No rule to make target `../../d2/qtd/Marshal.d', needed by `CMakeFiles/qtdcore.dir/qtdcore0.o'. Stop.
make[4]: *** [CMakeFiles/qtdcore.dir/all] Error 2
make[3]: *** [all] Error 2
make[2]: *** [main] Error 2
make[1]: *** [CMakeFiles/main.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2
Any ideas what's wrong here? |

The file wasn't properly renamed. Please pull the latest revision. |

thanks, I did so and the build was a success. However, ran into a problem when I tried to build the example. Running dmd et al.... yields
/usr/local/include/d/qt/gui/QApplication.di(3): Error: module Str is in file 'qtd/Str.d' which cannot be read
import path[0] = /usr/local/include/d
import path[1] = /usr/include/d/dmd/phobos
import path[2] = /usr/include/d/dmd/druntime/import
fwiw, I notice that in /usr/local/include/d/d2/qtd/ there is a file Str.di but don't see Str.d anywhere in import path |
