Porting to new DWT?

Hehe, last year I asked about tioport SWT, now about the new DWT. Smile

As far as I know, Poseidon uses DWT base on SWT 3.1.2, phobos and the Scintilla editor.
Now there is the new DWT, which is based on SWT 3.4, tango. The new DWT has also the JFace editor from Eclipse.

Would it make sense to rework Poseidon to the new DWT plattform?

I managed to compile the poseidon files with the new DWT and tango-svn+tangobos.

It now does startup. And I can create a project.

The poseidon.exe is about 12 MB. The present released poseidon.exe is about 2 MB. Is it the direct compilation result or is it compressed with tools like UPX?

The present released turn to be 600kb after i used aspack.

The Poseidon source with the new DWT is now in SVN. See branch/dwt34
At the moment it uses tango from SVN + tangobos.

Next step is to remove the tangobos dependencies and to replace the calls to Win32-API function with crossplatform equivalents.
