Okay, so it's been a while since the initial startup of the project. In the meantime a few things have happened: namechange from Dception to Fingerpaint. Some changes in the design and other stuff.
Currently the base of the library is fairly stable and working. We've got a couple of widgets, not enough for a release yet, but adding more widgets to the library is not the problem.
With the library shaping up for a real release, the biggest issue is documentation. There is some basic documentation consisting of a small code reference and a design. Both are in different formats using completely different systems. And I'm not happy about either system.
In the next few months we'll be halting progress on Fingerpaint to work on a complete system for documentation that allows us to create a code reference, tutorials, design rationales, etc.. that will be available online and offline.
An actual release of Fingerpaint can be expected in about 3 to 6 months.
Cheers,
