Hello Dan,
Now we have D as a core language, and Walnut as a scripting engine that can be used together with Mango and hopefully also Tango, it seems to be time for a Business Flow application which is able to execute different processes to to different tasks as done with a Business Flow (heh). So one can for example have an e-commerce application with the following construct:
(Just an example)
When client X bought product Y send an e-mail to Z
When Z replies with an Acknowledgement send the item, otherwise send a denial e-mail.

Svan,
At this point Walnut 1.x is definitely capable of supporting such an application - and ought to be a stable implementation.
Currently, I'm in the process of moving to a beautiful tropical island, and don't have internet access at home yet (currently at an internet cafe) As such I haven't been able to work on Walnut 2.x this month. It's currently in a state of being fully architected, but not fully fleshed out, let alone properly tested.
My Eve Online account also suffers.
That said, I'll check back in roughly 2 weeks, and answer any questions or thoughts then.
Sincerely,
Dan |

I finally got internet again. I wasn't willing to invest in it until both my wife and I had a job here on the tropical island. Need to worry about the bills and all, and around here setup fees are brutally expensive.
Internet cost me $115 to hook up, and apparently that's marked down from $350. The good news is that it doesn't cost anything higher month-to-month.
Anyways, I'll be back and working at this again in a couple days. Today is particularly hectic.
Sincerely,
Dan _________________ nop

Yeah Kris, the license is BSD, which is by my understandings more free than the GPL. You can use it for business related or most anything, provided the (3?) conditions are met.
As shown in /documentation/license.txt |
