Is this project active? Didn't the main developer move on to create Poseidon? That was my impression, but I'm a bit foggy on the D IDE's history.

That was the developer of another IDE |

The Descent project is a new effort to create an Eclipse plugin for developing in D.
I'm sure the world is big enough for 2 Eclipse plugins for D, but apparently DDT is still inactive. |
