You have to compile and link indigo/core/cbridge.c into the library.

Please look into the current stewart.tar.gz. I have deleted the fileengine module, and File now uses the indigo.posix.* modules. If you make changes to the old file module, we have to redo them.

You are right, deviceCodec() is a good idea to detect the console encoding. It is different from the standard local encoding in Windows, by the way. We'll add that.
