Are there any plans to properly support packages? It's a bit annoying to first create the package structure in explorer and then again in VS.

I can confirm that the arb vertex buffer object extension isn't loaded on my ubuntu box either.

If I've understood correctly the GLFW maintainer changed about two years ago. This might have something to do with the shared library issue, or not.

Hmm... looking at the makefiles, there seem to be rules for making a shared library for X11. So it seems that it is possible.

I think you need to give dmd all the required files. At least the linker needs them. So just saying 'dmd main.d' won't work in this case.
