= Tango Installation =

Tango is currently available in two formats: a full distribution, or a core distribution plus a collection of optional add-ons.  You will need either the full or core distribution to use Tango, and the manual installation process is identical for both.  

The Tango install process is a bit different from that of most third-party libraries because Tango actually contains a complete D runtime environment, but rest assured that the process is relatively straightforward and nothing will be done that cannot be undone.  These instructions outline the most basic approach for manually installing Tango, and should serve as a guide for installations with more specific requirements.
