Incomplete examples makefile

The examples makefile doesn't have rules for networking/vfs.d and text/properties.d.

Just curious, is bud the preferred build tool for this makefile? I see that it don't work if setting BUILDTOOL to rebuild.

I've found that too. Oddly, bud doesn't work for my own projects. Don't ask me why.
