Should we move the html files?

Description

The ~700 html files are in the main repository. To make it easier to synchronize with SVN, should we consider moving these files elsewhere; perhaps into a branch?

If these html-files are all generated from the source in svn, then they shouldn't be in svn at all, only possibly the necessary scripts to generate them a new.
