GDC , Linux and Tango

Posted: 04/01/07 20:15:01 When I try to build the examples I get 'FileConduit?.d' , toUtf8() does not override any. I have edited /etc/dmd.conf with DFLAGS pointing only to tango source, but still get this error. When I try to compile a test Phobos program, it compiles w/o complaint, so I don't know how GDC is finding phobos. Thanks, Charlie

larsivi Joined: 03/27/04 Posts: 613	Posted: 04/04/07 05:11:53 GDC don't use dmd.conf - don't the GDC install pages tell you what you need? Also, there are installers available which should install Tango properly for you.
