Welcome to OpenMW

OpenMW i an open source reimplementation of the popular game Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. It aims to become a complete remplimentation of the Morrowind engine, with support for all original content (including add-ons Tribunal and Bloodmoon), all localized versions and all user created mods.

The code relies on various open source libraries, most notably Ogre for graphics and Audiere for sound. It's for the most part written in D, with some parts in C++ to interface with the libraries.

OpenMW will also make heavy use of scripting, through the Monster scripting language. to make gameplay elements flexible and completely extendable.
