It would be helpful to mention the #gtkd irc channel on the project page.

A link to this irc web client would be nice: gtkD channel

What does mibbit use, it might be a better option if it doesn't need any plugins to work.

Mibbit uses ajax instead of java. We can use mibbit if that's what everyone wants, I just don't like relying on another server to be up. Mibbit MUST host the client for you, which I don't like.

I can write an ajax irc client if that's the goal.

Just having an alternative if Java is disabled is fine.

No need to write an ajax chat yourself.

Ok, I won't write one. However, I will implement an ajax irc client solution tonight. I'll post here when it's finished.

The chat page now contains two options: Java Version and Mibbit Version. This is only temporary until I decide what would make the best chat client, which I hope to do tomorrow.
