- [x] Bug fix: the main Engine seems to use power even when traveling solely on the cruise engine
- [x] Bug fix: the green speedbump things don't work sometimes (Phr00t: I assume you mean transpaths?)
- [x] Bug fix: turning engines get really havy and power-consuming at higher levels, and dont get much better at turning (Phr00t: beta fix checked in)
- [?] Bug fix: rotating a dreadnaught with weight==400 or so can take a loooooooooot of time (Phr00t: this is where you need to buy and equip more than one turner)
- [x] Bug fix: nasty gc stalls from time to time, especially when shooting (implement freelist for particles)
- [x] Interface: it would be cool if the sensor's display overwrote the starry space. the background stars look like objects in the sensor (Phr00t: this would remove a large portion of the screen from view, maybe I can better show "dots" to distinguish from stars)
- [x] Look: unstable portholes look really bad without blending when a 'storm' begins
- [x] Look: they violet-ish storm effects can get REAL annoying :} make sure to add some graphical effect to them as they can look like bugs (I will greatly reduce the opacity of the storms)
- [-] Look: add markers to tell what faction ships are from? (Phr00t: the color of the selection box tells if it is a friendly faction or not already...)
- [x] Package: add readme.txt file to freeuniverse package that includes controls, etc. (including WIP)
- [?] Gameplay: When you attack a planet full of inhabitants, they would probably send a couple (hundred)? space ships to defend against you! (Phr00t: hundred is a bit many :) -- planets already send out large ships to defend the planet)
- [?] Gameplay: Give the planet the option of 'surrendering' to your faction (Phr00t: I'm afraid this won't work very good -- because ships will still not surrender within the zone [whole zone shouldn't surrender], and it is the ships attacking you, not the planet/station)
- [?] Gameplay: Conversations with other ships (NPC's) (Phr00t: yeah, trying to figure out how this will be handled... e.g. what is the point of the conversations (if any)? to what detail will the conversations be held?)
