Expand the DDL file type definition

Reported by: pragma Assigned to: pragma

Description

Right now, the DDL type definition has a very narrow focus in use. It should be expanded to cover additional features:

- Arbitrary metadata - Processor architecture - Other DDL dependencies

There are probably more that will work as well. They should all use the arbitrary metadata facility such that the absence of any given attribute can be required or ignored depending on the use of the library. It also provides for a more forward-compatible design.
