This is the gtkD/demos/gtkD/TestWindow demo. Built with DMD 2.052 & gtkD v141. Running on XP32. Also tested with latest svn with the same results.

I do have these runtime error messages:
https://gist.github.com/900972

I've already installed the GTK runtime libs (GTK+ 2.22). Other demos seem to work fine.

I remember trying out this example a few months ago on an earlier release, and it didn't have this problem.

Can anyone else confirm so I can file a bug report?

Odd, the errors listed on github look normal and shouldn't cause the black bars.

I can see the black bars when using wine and the runtime linked from the gtkD main page.
The bundle from the gnome ftp doesn't show this behavior:
ftp://ftp.gnome.org/Public/gnome/binaries/win32/gtk+/2.22/gtk+-bundle_2.22.1-20101227_win32.zip

Could you confirm that is also true on windows.
