That a problem with the packaging of dmd, you'll need to force the install.
For dsss there also are ubuntu packages: https://launchpad.net/~d-language-packagers/+archive/ppa

And for GtkD, if you use dsss then this should install GtkD:
Code:
dsss install

What do you mean for "you'll need to force the install"?Or How can I install DMD by myself? Thanks.

Besides,2 more concerns:

1.For linux, ever think about an D implementation for gtkd GUI designer, say,Glade the like?
2.For windows,the same concerns.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Sam

I haven't ussed Ubuntu in a while but the command to force the install should be:
Code:
dpg -i --force-architecture,depends dmd.1.043.dep

Here is a bug report about the broken package: http://d.puremagic.com/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=3028
And this page explains how to install dmd: http://prowiki.org/wiki4d/wiki.cgi?D__Tutorial/InstallingDCompiler
