It's been a long time coming!

Release one is available for download over here: http://www.dsource.org/projects/mango/?sec=downloads

As discussed, the packaging has changed: three subsections have been broken-out into seperate downloads, including Mango.icu, Mango.log, and Mango.example ~ where the former two are compiled to be standalone. There are some changes to each of those two, so please check the readme.txt file for details.

All source packages now include Win32 libraries. I'd like to bundle linux libraries also, but that will have to wait for later.

Documentation is still not complete, but getting the code "out there" is just as important. Please note that the online documentation will be updated in due course.

Edit: Release 1.0a now works with the latest compiler, and the ICU package is operational again.

Hey, thanks man! Of course, you're to be held fully responsible too, since hardly any of the linux stuff would have happened without you.

At the risk of sounding corny, I do think any appreciation should include everyone who has helped in one way or another (I'm doing this from memory, so please tell me if I miss you out):

John Reimer
Scott Sanders
Pragma
John (teqdruid)
Brad Anderson
Chris Sauls
Christopher Miller
Walter
Ivan Senji
Carlos
Ben Hinkle
Lars Ivar
Charlie (qbert)

(I guess I jumped the gun a little early though ... dmd 0.107 broke the ICU bindings (all 215 of them). I guess a v1.0a is in order Embarassed)

I suggest that folks hold off downloading Mango until this dmd 0.107 issue with Mango.icu is resolved.

Sorry about the inconvenience.

Am I right to suppose that mango_release_1.0 contains everything except for the docs and examples? Because I couldn't find a makefile there.

It should be there ... but it's not! Ack! I'll fix that at the same time as we get this darned dmd 0.107 issue out of the way.

You could also grab the makefile from SVN (or from the repository browser).

OK ... dmd 0.108 fixed all the issues, so Release 1.0a is now available over here: http://www.dsource.org/projects/mango/?sec=downloads

I don't have doxygen on this laptop, so I'll upload the documentation on Friday evening instead. In the Interim, the older doc is online here: http://svn.dsource.org/svn/projects/mango/trunk/doc/html/index.html
