|
|
Hi there,
I have some questions:
- Is it possible to use sdl.dll, sdlttf.dll and so on (all needed dll files) as rcdata? To have only one exe-File at the end?
- How i can access the Applications Icon from the App Resources?
- And how i can use imported files (bmp for example; because then its void[] and can't cast it to SDL_Surface*) as an surface?
Thanks,
WasserDragoon. |

All but the last question are Win32 specific and have nothing to do with Derelict. I suggest you take these to a Win32 forum. Any answers you get there will be applicable to D as the Win32 API calls are the same.
As for your last question, it isn't Derelict-specific either, but I would venture to answer no. You *could* assign a void array to the buffer pointer in the SDL surface (I forget what it's called), but that wouldn't be recommended. All SDL surfaces should be created via the SDL API. If you want, or need, to manipulate a void array, you could copy it to the Surface before rendering. But you'd probably be better off manipulating the Surface pixels directly.
I try not to be anal about it, but please try to keep posts in this forum related to Derelict. Questions about D should go to the D newsgroups or the #D IRC channels. Questions about SDL or other libraries should go to the appropriate forum. I surely don't want to become a support channel for D, SDL, OpenGL, and everything Derelict uses. _________________ The One With D | The One With Aldacron | D Bits |
