I've only read the D language intros/summaries (very enticing!) and I'm wondering how I can write a Linux kernel module in D.

What would the "Hello World" kernel module in D look like? How would it be compiled? Can the Linux Kbuild system be used (e.g., by defining new "D" targets, etc.)?

I looked around for a Linux kernel module in D example, but didn't find one. Is there one?

Is there a D evangelist petitioning the Linux kernel developers to add generic build targets for D source code?

Regards.
