Having some trouble calling SysInitalize on anything other than the Current process's handle. SysInitalize just h angs forever , have tried everything I can think of , So just going to try something else. Weve found a bunch of samples but so far only one compiled and 'worked'.

Without imagehlp and SysXXX calls well have to parse the PE file by hand, which will slow things down but still do-able. No code yet.

I should really review these posts. All those Sys's should be Sym ( SymInitialize etc. )

Hmm actually , today I revisted imagehlp , and it seems SymInit was only hanging on exceptions that were of type EXCEPTION_BREAKPOINT , so it works now its able to get file and line numbers. Yay! Cool
