I was hoping to post a topic titled "Derelict 0.1 Released". Alas, I've stumbled into a brick wall. As I was cleaning up compile errors in DerelictSDL, I got an assertion failure from the compiler itself. There's a post on the NG awaiting hints on how to solve this. I'm too wound down to mess with it any further for now, and will likely spend some time on another project tomorrow. Once I clear my head and/or get a response from the NG I'll try to work it out.
At any rate, DerelictSDL is now in SVN. I've also modified the GL and GLU packages to use std.loader in place of the private functions I had implemented. I haven't tested anything since I zapped the gltest.d I was using. Once I can get the SDL port to compile I'll slap together a few quickie test apps. If all goes well I'll package it all up in a zip and release 0.1. When that will be depends on how soon I get SDL compiled. If anyone would like to checkout the source, run the makefile in the DerelictSDL dir, and see if they can get it compiled, I'll be happy |

Thanks for the help, mate. I'll see what I can do with it. |

Yay, it's fixed. It was a silly typo on my part . But it did expose a (IMO) bug in dmd at least. So now DerelictSDL compiles without errors.
SVN is currently at revision 19. I'm going to start in on some little test apps as soon as I submit this post. If all appears to be in working order, then revision 19 will be tagged as the 0.1 release and I'll upload a zip. |
