Hey Clay et al.,
I have ported the Tile Studio Demo code from Dev-C++/SDL to D/Derelict for fun. I don't know if you guys have seen Tile Studio, but it looks really good for side scrolling tiles and characters. I thought maybe you might want to look at it for Xubutor. Of course, I could be way off base, so please don't flame if it is totally unusable with Arc
I only tried the Demo port under Linux and I used Tile Studio with the Windoze emulator called "wine", under Linux. It should work with Windoze/Cygwin, though.
By the way, I have no affiliation with Tile Studio, I just like Concurrent Clean and stumbled across TS when looking for side scrolling game examples.

I compiled this with DMD0.149 under Linux (FC5), by the way. Check out the Readme.
