Hello, recently I've been working on a little project called ClayTek over at sourceforge (http://claytek.sourceforge.net/). I originally started writing this project in C++, but as I became familiar with the language, I became familiar with its flaws. So, having heard about D, I converted, which was a bit rough but I got through so far
anyway, I was thinking about moving the whole operation over to dsource.org because it seems like a nice little promising D community.
ClayTek 3D uses SDL, (will use SDL_net and SDL_mixer) and OpenGL + OpenGLU to create a 3D games library that I'm aiming for it to be easy to use.
What I want to do is create a level editor and supply a way for people to make quick, easy, fun games with it.
However, I admit, this is my first 3d project, but i'm willing to rewrite and rewrite until i get it right. So far I have a world with textured cubes that a player can jump around on. No sound yet, but soon to be added. The player has unlimited jumps too.
Anyway, my sourceforge website says a lot about the project. I think I'm done. ta' ta' |
