Not Found
The requested URL /arcv01.zip was not found on this server.
Don't worry, I do the same thing all the time. I'm browsing around the source now seeing what I can download to set it up myself.
BTW, not sure how to use subversion to get the source files either. I assume all I'm missing is the correct path?
Code: | C:\MyFiles\eric\current\arc>svn co arcgames.dsource.org/trunk c:\arc
svn: 'arcgames.dsource.org/trunk' does not appear to be a URL
C:\MyFiles\eric\current\arc>svn co www.dsource.org/projects/arcgames/browser/trunk c:\arc
svn: 'www.dsource.org/projects/arcgames/browser/trunk' does not appear to be a URL |

Good job, Clay ! Here are my picks:
1. How about a linux version ? Some people will complain about it
2. You might want to run that article through a spellchecker as it contains a few typos
3. You could add licensing information to the article, as I did with mine. Check the footers for my articles. They contain the line 'this tutorial is licensed under the Creative Commons license' which links to http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.5/.
4. You might also want to put your name somewhere in the article so people will know who wrote it might be sth like 'by Clay Smith' just below the main title or something
Keep up the good work !

Ok, I probably should've realized that releasing the tutorial with a broken link is not a good idea, so I'll put together a release candidate package and link to that.
--- edit ----
Actually, I don't really have time to put up a release candidate, but I'm working on 1 last tutorial before I announce arc is stable, and by then the link should work.

Hey Tom, thanks for the feedback. I kind of figured linux users can figure things out for themselves more, hrm... maybe i'll just give linux user's helpful tips and tell them to Q&A in the forums. |
