Im just brainstorming so feel free to comment / shootdown.
I count 4 parsers , a 'current file' parser , a 'project folder parser' , a 'import parser' ( that as you type import<space> , it will bring up a list of possible imports ) , and a 'builtin keyword' parser, what will offer up auto-completion based on D's builtin types.
The current file parser would be updated on loading / saving file ( The outline view ), and the project parser would be updated on saving project, or manually refreshing the project dir list .

Also a MRU ( most recently used ) parser, that would store recently completed entries, so 5 total. We could funnel all requests through a proxy parser class. |

Charlie,
Does this mean that you are going to help Shawn develop Poseidon then? If so, that's great!
