Hi,
Can we develop commercial applications with GtkD? How should I distribute my program? How should I license it?
Thanks. _________________ mengu.net - some kind of monster |

Yes you can use GtkD with commercial applications.
GtkD uses the LGPL with exceptions, see: http://www.dsource.org/projects/gtkd/browser/trunk/COPYING
As for now you would only have to mention you are using GtkD, see exception 3.
When it's possible to create working shared libraries with D exception 2 will be dropped, so at that point you will need to use GtkD as a shared library. |
