I recently stumbled upon GLEW while doing some research on GLSL. This looks like a prime candidate to replace GLEE in Derelict. I'll just whip up an interface to the GLEW dll and see how it goes. If it all pans out, then that's what I'll use from here on out. That will save the effort of Linuxizing the D port of GLEE, getting the original GLee DLL ready, and any other issues that have come up recently with GLEE.
I expect to finally be able to get back to Derelict next week. My task list looks like this:
1) port GLEW
2) complete DerelictPY
3) knock up some tests and simple examples
4) release Derelict 0.2
I've chosen Halloween as my target date for releasing Derelict 0.2. If DerelictPY doesn't give me too much trouble, I should be able to get it all wrapped up sooner. |
