Hi, it would be great to use descent with eclim (http://eclim.sourceforge.net).
It works both ways, embedding vim inside eclipse or using eclipse features inside vim.
Descent has the best autocompletion support out there and it would be great to use it with vim. |

Hi! That's seems a nice idea. Which of the use cases (1, 2 or 3 from http://eclim.sourceforge.net/) are you thinking about?
Also, I can't find a guide to expose from Eclipse the services provided by Eclim. Where is it? |

I'm interested in first one. I didn't try eclim because I'm using eclipse only for D. So I don't know if other use cases bring more advantages. I don't think i will use any other features than these in 1. scenario. The main reason i asked for this is vim is a great editor and eclipse is damn slow in linux because of swt's bad gtk implementation. It can't even track my typing.
Oh, looks like it lacks documentation currently (http://eclim.sourceforge.net/development/index.html). I don't know how it works but anyways, you can dig into source. |

I second this request. Eclim is awesome, I use it daily for Java development. It would be great to have support for Descent |
