Thought I'd jot down a few things that are known to be broken:
1) SocketListener causes problems on linux during program termination. We still don't know the cause of this. This restricts the clustering package will from operating upon linux.
2) There are some file-related methods still missing for linux. If somebody with a linux box could help out, that would be great.
3) Interface-based multiple inheritance is still broken in v0.98 of the compiler. I have not been able to hack around this with respect to concrete IRemoteCacheLoader instances. This means that the clustering package cannot fully synchronize network access to a specific cache entry (not the same as concurrent updates, which it does handle properly).
4) The v0.98 Interface issues can cause problems with client code that implement a few specific Mango interfaces (ones that couldn't be hacked around). Walter will hopefully resolve these.

Is there a list somewhere that specifies the file-related methods that need implementation on linux? |

Yep: they are in the todo list of the Beta-9.2 downloadable Doxygen documentation. At the top-right of index.html there is a tab called "Related Pages"; they're in there.
Would be awesome if you can get some of those running! |
