i've noticed memcache module in earlier mango releases. it have moved somewhere now or it is just in the past? can't find any working Sad

I used Trac to search and found it mentioned in ticket #18. I think it was moved as part of r938 to the v2.1 branch. In that case, this is the last version in the trunk is in r937.

I don't know why it was removed from the trunk. I suspect it was part of a refactoring effort.

I believe that Tango now supports a superior caching architecture through the tango.net.cluster... modules. See here for more on this.

The MemCache stuff is still around ... I could put it back in trunk, if ppl are keen to have it?

that would be very usefull. we have memcache servers running around to work with php, perl and they r working just fine, so i'd like to use them..

So has memcache been put back in? Im using an older version and would like to retain that feature.

MemCache is now in Tango as tango.net.util.MemCache
