Hi,

I would like to use multiarray on linux, but can't get it up and running...

Is this project still maintained?

I'm not too up on how to make D work in linux land. Are you using dmd or gdc? Did you build blas/lapack already following the instructions in bbmath/README.txt? (Or following them as close as you can, given that you're on linux).

If so what are the problems you're encountering? I have Ubuntu installed under VMWare, so I can try to duplicate whatever problems you're running into. I have successfully built other D projects on Linux that connect to C/C++ .so libs, so if you can get Blas/Lapack .so's built then things should work I think.

I haven't been actively working on this library lately, and as far as I know there were never any other users besides me. So if you're interested in it, then you should be forewarned that it could require some effort on your part, simply because no one else has ever tried to use it AFAIK.

On the other hand if you're interested in using D to interface with BLAS/LAPACK, this is probably your best bet. Starting with this should definitely be less work than starting from scratch.

With your newly created dsss.conf it worked now.
I am running on Ubuntu linux V6.10. ATLAS is installed. Everything is fine.

Cool, matest.d runs without errors?

Maybe you could write down the steps you went through for the ATLAS/BLAS part for the README.txt. Even if you just downloaded ATLAS .debs or something, that would still be nice to have documented.

I will write it down. Maybe also add a line to dsss.conf for ubuntu?

That would be great. Email me or post here when you have something.
