The serialization library doesn't really have enough features to warrant it being in arc.
Most importantly, it's missing human-readable output and versioning, both rather important. I intend to develop it further once D's compile time reflection improves, but for now I think that having it in Arc will just make people try to use it and be disappointed.
Besides, it has its own project on dsource; so people can still get it if they like.
Are you okay with me removing it from arc? |

I'd rather keep it in, as it is still very useful even in its current state. Nothing is perfect the first time, and arc is only on v.2 remember
We can just improve it in the future

Okay, if you like. But we should be sure to point out its deficiencies.
I've closed the ticket anyway for I'm aware of the issues and it'd be better suited as a ticket in http://www.dsource.org/projects/serialization to not clutter up arc's ticketspace. |

Alright. We can just stick it in the Arc v.2 limitations thread |

Alright, so with the switch from Phobos to Tango... I guess I'm just going to remove the serialization stuff from Arc.
If you want something to help out with saving and loading games then XML is a good choice, or you can bug the Tango folks for better serialization, I think they have some basic things implemented for that already.
