Hello!
I had a problem compiling ddbi under linux. It was connected with file names, which under linux are case-sensitive. The solution was to change names of files to e.g.: Row.d, ErrorCode.d, Result.d etc. I think you should choose one convention and keep to it to avoid problems on linux.
BTW: Thanks for nice db framework.
Regards

Sorry to ressurect a dead thread, but having recently started using DBI (neat, btw!) I'll add that it is indeed a problem under *nix.
It's not a big deal to rename the files once, but it prevents me from easily updating the code from SVN. In practice, this means I'm stuck with tediously renaming the files everytime I update, or I can use an out-of-date version of DBI.
Considering the steady flux of bugfixes that I can see in SVN, that'd be a shame.
So please, rename the files to match the case of the module declaration?
(Btw, still looking for a MySQL maintainer, or is the wiki just out of date?) |

I don't mind if you revive a dead thread as long as it serves a purpose.

The files are going to be renamed in the next version. I've just been a little too busy lately to commit anything.

Yes, I'm still looking for a MySQL maintainer. Would you like to maintain it? |

Ah, that's good to hear.

I'd love to. I'm gonna be working quite a bit with D and MySQL, so I should be able to get some work done on it. |
